The Dreamyard logo has been designed by Prof. Aspasia Papadima who gave in the best possible way, a visual interpretation of our business concept!
Dreamyard is the idealistic place where everyone can fulfill their dreams. Our clients’ inner expectations are projected on the sky that can embrace, better than anything else, the meaning of the dream! The bright night sky is full of stars and planets, each of which corresponds to a dreamer’s inner desire.
The design combines “sky” and the “dreams” in a star constellation that forms the figure of “the dreamer” who is a child lying on the ground, looking at the stars, dreaming. Connected stars denote all our inner wishes and life expectations, formed into the shape of our eternally young true nature!
In 2017, “the dreamer”, i.e. the Dreamyard logo design, won an Award of Excellence by the 8th WOLDA, in Category 1: Logo New (WOLDA – Worldwide Logo Design Award – is a worldwide competition for logos and business stationery).
About the creator:
Aspasia Papadima is an Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts at Cyprus University of Technology. She works both as a graphic design consultant and a graphic artist. Her design work has been awarded in global competitions and shown at a number of international design exhibitions.
She is the founder and coordinator of the Language and Graphic Communication Research Lab, and member of the Cyprus Association of Graphic Designers and Illustrators and the Hellenic Semiotics Society.
